And just like that, He is 7 Months Old ~ Camden Kingsley Loxton

I cannot believe that I am even typing this blog and saying that my sweet boy is 7 months old. It honestly feels like the other day that he was born and he is closer to one years of age now than he is to being my tiny little boy that I brought home from hospital.

It has been a busy and tough month due to teething but I have loved watching Camden grow and change on a daily basis. It is amazing to see what he does from one day to the next, mind blowing to say the least. I am starting to see more and more of his personality making an appearance too.

Such a curious child and has to observe and check everything out around him. Gone are the days where you could just pop a bottle in his mouth and he would lay there and drink it, or change his nappy and he would just lay there...no, no now you have to try with all your strength to keep him still.

How Big?: He went for his check up on the 28th of January and weighed in at ......kg and measured ....cm

Clothing Size: This is so difficult to say. At the moment he is wearing all different sizes ranging from 12-18, 18-24 months. It depends on what item of clothing it is and also the make of clothing.

Eating: Like a champ! There were those days due to teething where he didn't feel like eating but for the most part this child eats and enjoys it. I think it is safe to say he may eat me out of house and home one day soon.

Sleep: Terrible. This month his sleeping just went from bad to worse. Most night waking up roughly 7 times. Screaming and kicking! Took roughly 30-45minutes some nights to get him back to sleep or just to calm him down.

Movement: We have a crawler this month. Still a little uncoordinated but he is crawling and getting all over the house. We are having to watch him closely and are unable to leave him alone for one second. If things get quiet, you know Camden is up to something.

Milestones:

I feel as though Camden made a massive leap this month, everything that he has been trying to do he has all of a sudden mastered the art. It is as if it is all coming together now.

Got his first tooth in week 28

Starting crawling around week 29

Excitement this month: Starting with the beginning stages of the wedding planning and my friend Catherine and her family arrived in CPT for a 6 week long visit!
Seven months post-partum: I have lost 16kg in the past 7 months but this is still a daily struggle and I cannot understand why. I am eating right, training on average 5-6 days a week. Doing morning cardio and strength training in the evenings. I really want to have lost all the baby weight by my 32nd birthday and for Camden's first birthday. I am trying so hard but my struggle is SO REAL.

Emotionally I am ok. Went to the doctor this month and she has put me on meds for post natal depression that I have just been managing with. That is what I do, I cope no matter what is wrong. I thought nothing of the way I was feeling until someone told me to go see the doctor because the feelings that I was describing were all post natal depression related.

Physically I am feeling LOADS better. I am enjoying my training and can feel my fitness levels increasing.
